The family of a suspected robber is speaking out after he was shot during an armed robbery by an innocent bystander.

Adric White, 18, of Mobile, Alabama was shot by a 'Good Samaritan' who possessed a concealed weapon and permit, and acted when he saw White pointing a gun at someone in the store.

According to the family of White,

"If the customer's life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him, what gives him the right to think that it's okay to just shoot someone?” a relative, who wished to remain anonymous. “You should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever."

The 'Good Samaritan' who is being regarded as a hero, told a local news station, he was shopping at the Family Dollar, when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store.

"He had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees," said the man. "I drew my gun on him and I said 'Hey don't move.' At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me I fired. I didn't want to shoot him." "They (the criminals) tend to think that they are the only ones with guns. I've been legally carrying my firearm for a little over four years now, and thank God I've never had to use it until, of course, last night. It just goes to show it's good to have a concealed carry. you never know when your going to need it."

The unidentified hero shot White 5 times. A second man, White's accomplice, was also reported seen fleeing the store.

This story get's better though, White was out of jail on bond for a previous robbery of a resturant at gunpoint just a little over a month before he robbed the Family Dollar.

His family is angry because he was shot while committing a criminal act of robbing businesses at gunpoint. Bunch of dumb a**es, they're lucky the man didn't kill him. He should consider himself lucky to be alive.
