Max Is The 107 Jamz Dog Of The Week

Meet Max! This guy was an animal cruelty case, but you wouldn't know it by his demeanor. He's as sweet as can be and needs a place to call home.

Max is the 107 Jamz Dog of The Week. He's such a sweet young man. He's obviously a mixed-breed, about 1 1/2-years of age and well rounded as far as people and other animals. Max hasn't met a stranger yet and has come a long way from how he arrived at Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue (LCPBR).

Sadly, he was an animal cruelty case. When he came to LCPBR he was 3 months old and severely underweight. For the first few months of his life he lived in a small kennel living in his own feces and urine. Thank God dogs have a short memory when it comes to be mistreated and abused. As you can see in the video below, he has bounced back just fine.

Though you can't really tell in the video, Max is full of energy and loves people! So, he's going to need a home with kids or an active person that can take him running and be willing to play with him a lot. He's wonderful with other dogs and potty trained, so he will also do well in the house. As with every dog at LCPBR, Max is up to date on all his shots, has a clean bill of health, micro-chipped, heartworm neg.and neutered. His adoption fee is $200 and even comes with a free training day.
