Melanie Fiona Pays Homage To Amy Winehouse

There's very few people who weren't captivated by the sheer talent of Amy Winehouse -- none more than Canadian powerhouse Melanie Fiona, though.  To pay tribute to her favorite artist,  Melanie is going to release her version of Amy's "Wake Up Alone"  The breathtaking track is from Amy's Grammy-winning album "Back To Black."Melanie actually shot the video for rendition of the song back in January, but she kept it under wraps until now.  Melanie said "Earlier on the year, I made this video and never posted it.  Today, it's all I can do to express my gratitude to one of my favorite artists.  May your music live on to inspire others, as it has inspired me.  R.I.P. AMY WINHOUSE. xo."

Meanwhile, family and close friends of Amy said farewell to her at a private funeral today in London.  Amy's parents, brother Alex and boyfriend Reg Traviss went by her home yesterday and met with fans who've been mourning at a makeshift shrine to thank them for their love and support.

Mitch and Janis Winehouse took time to read several messages left by fans telling those in attendance "Thank you for coming.  It means so much to our family".
