It would seem the toxicology results are in for Amy Winehouse. Today, her father Mitch Winehouse sits down with Anderson Cooper to go over the details. Plus, the collaboration between Amy and Tony Bennett, "Body And Soul," has landed on the Internet. The full video and song will premiere September 14, with proceeds of the song benefiting The Amy Winehouse Foundation providing support for young people suffering from substance and alcohol abuse.
The toxicology report from Amy Winehouse’s autopsy is in.
Chris Goodman, the Winehouse family spokesman, released a statement saying, “Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present, but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death. The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October.”
