Sweet Mia has had disappointment after disappointment.  She's about 8 or 9 years old and a Bull Terrier/ American Pit Bull Terrier mix.  This young lady has a solid, calm temperament and would be excellent for a family with kids or even better a perfect companion for a senior citizen.

Mia has been with Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue for about 5-years, off and on.  The reason for that is because she's been adopted by families, only to be brought back.  Do to no fault of her own, she's been returned because one family separated, then another returned her after their mate started working long hours, yet another family decided traveling was more important than keeping her.

Find out more about Mia in the video below and find out how you can adopt her today.

Mia was attacked and hurt badly a few years ago, so she doesn't trust other dogs.  So it should be noted that she would need to be the only dog in the household.  For more info on how to adopt this sweet dog, click on the Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue link and fill-out the adoption application today.  Mia, as with all dogs up for adoption is micro-chipped, spayed and up-to-date on all her shots.

Learn more about being a foster parent as well.  Fosters are badly needed, because rescue dogs need to stay socialized.  Not only that, but the more room Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue has at their facility the more dogs they can rescue.  Besides, they take care of all the dogs needs while their in your care.  That includes, food, vet visits, bedding, toys etc.  So, all you need to do is provide love!
