In case you didn't know his name, there is an artist from New Orleans that has just released a new album and it is going to be a problem. His name is Codac, and you've probably heard his hit single, "Pose", around town; either on mixshows or in the clubs. He released his new album entitled "Codac Moment" Monday night at midnight. I was able to get a sneak peak Monday afternoon and it has not been ejected from my deck since. He proves that a rapper from New Orleans can make music other than bounce. Nothing against bounce music, but it seems that most of the time when people think about rap/hip-hop music from New Orleans, they automatically think bounce music. Or whatever kind of music Lil Wayne makes. I'm not sure if it is called "mumble music" or just rap, but that's not the issue at hand. The issue at hand is how Codac is able to tell stories with his words and make you feel like you are along side him the whole journey. Click the link below to support his album on iTunes.

I am Magic Mike, and I approve this album.
