New Orleans 10-Years Later : The People Talk Hurricane Katrina And Family They Lost [VIDEO]

I don't know about you, but it was hard to comprehend that the city I love was under water and thousands were trapped when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.  In the middle of the night, many drowned in the 25 feet of flood that rushed into the city in a matter of 10 - 12 minutes.

The tragedy, sadness and death is something, no one will forget.  In the months, days and years that followed the destruction and loss Hurricane Katrina left behind, stands a city even greater than it was before.

We love you New Orleans!  We cried with you, suffered with you and now we celebrate with you.  The cities comeback is because of the people within.  It's because of their resilience, strength, character and soul that makes New Orleans great!
