Ragin’ Cajuns Geaux Bowling [VIDEO]
The University of Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns football team are headed to their first college football bowl in some time.
When the Ragin’ Cajuns take the field for the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, it will be the first postseason contest for Louisiana-Lafayette as an FBS member, and it will be only the third bowl game at any level in school history.
When are they playing this weekend and what time are they playing?
Kickoff is at 8 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN.

Here are a few things the Ragin’ Cajun fans are encouraged to check out on the day of the game!
There are several events leading up to kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 17 including Pre-Game Tailgating at Rouse’s on Barrone Street from 1-5 p.m.
Starting at 2:30 p.m. the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation will host the RCAF Tailgate Party sponsored by Iberia Bank in the St. Charles Room at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Admission is free to all RCAF 2011 Annual Fund donors and $10.00 for all others.
At 4 p.m., the UL Alumni Association will host a Ragin’ Cajuns Alumni Pre-Game Bash in Club 44 located off of Champions Square.
The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Tailgate Party at Champions Square caps off the festivities on game day starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. Fans will have a chance to get ready for the big game with great entertainment, food and beverage.
Doors open for the New Orleans Bowl at 6:30 p.m. with kick off slated for 8 p.m. in the Mercedes Superdome.
