She's the ultimate femcee these days.  Nicki Minaj has clawed her way to the top of the rap game.  On her way up, she's managed to join the hottest label on the planet, smash all kinds of records, won tons of awards and let's not forget a highly publicized beef with the "Queen Bee" Lil Kim.

This year and in the next couple of months Nicki Minaj teamed up with OPI nail polish to feature her own signature colors, is going to embark on a European tour, drop her sophomore album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" and this week signed a multimillion dollar deal with Pepsi.  That's just off the top of my head.

But, who was Nicki before her crazy image, the wigs and costumes, the glitz, the Barbie glam and the fame?

She was beast from the very beginning.  The Trinidadian-born Onika Tanya Maraj was clearly untapped talent, this until Lil Wayne scooped her up.  And well, you know what they say....

The Rest Is History!

By the way, here's what she has to say about her upcoming album.
