Meet Storm.  This is one fine young lady.  She's a mix breed, but we're not totally sure with what.  Judging by her eyes we're guessing she's got some husky and Labrador in her.  Whatever the mixture, Storm is a wonderful dog.  She's about 2 or 2 1/2 years old and she's is a big dog.

Storm will do best with a family that has kids and a nice size yard.  She is also kennel and potty trained and knows several commands as well.  Check-out the video below to see her in action and get more details.

To adopt Storm all you need $250 dollars.  This fee will cover her micro-ship, one free day of training, rabies license.  Storm has also been spayed.  Contact Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue for even more details.

By the way Storm is extra special dog, because she is a member of the Positive Pit Project and used to belong to the late Molly Frank.  On March 24, 2015, our trainer and friend, Molly Frank, lost her life in a car accident.  We are deeply saddened by this loss and will continue the Positive Pit Project in her honor.  Her legacy will be kept alive as we carry on her passion of providing service dogs to veterans.

In our first Positive Pit Project newsletter, we introduced Molly and her training credentials and achievements.  I would like to share those with you again:

Molly began training dogs in 1991.  She was certified with the DEA and Homeland Security and trained and certified narcotic detection dogs, as well as explosion detection dogs.  In 1998, Molly started training service dogs and certified close to 30 dogs through Lake Area K-9 and close to 200 service dogs over the years through other kennels.  She adhered to the strict guidelines of ADI (Assistance Dogs International), and all dogs certified by Molly met and exceeded these guidelines.  Molly was an AKC competitor and a competitor-trainer for Mondioring Dog Sport.  She studied in America, as well as Europe.  In the aftermath 9/11, Molly took a team of dogs and did search and rescue at Ground Zero.  We were privileged to have her as our Positive Pit Projectt trainer and enjoyed working with her through Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue.
