Well a few years ago,people were highly upset that Jermaine Dupri lost possibly the best girlfriend that he could ever find. This is all when he and Janet Jackson broke up. Things haven't been the best for Jermaine, although Janet has been doing ok even without having any music out there. Artist Kendrick Lamar has taken over the hip hop scene with a vengence and it seems to be working out even better with him for the coming year. He just released the single for Poetic Justice that is featuring Drake and it seems that he wants to add Janet Jackson to the video.

If you watched the Superbowl last night and saw the Giants take a victory over the Patriots then you saw the big performance from Madonna. She really set it off  and gave what I feel was the performance of all performances in a while for a Superbowl event. The funeral services for Slim Dunkin were held this past Friday after the up-n-coming rapper was murdered in a Atlanta studio over a piece of candy the week before.  The murder has been under heavy investigation ever since it happened.  Police were pleading to the public for any leads and specifically to the more than 30 people present at the time Slim was shot.  Now, authorities have a break in t

Jay Z has been in and out of court over his hit single "Big Pimpin" since 2007.  He's being sued for copyright infringement of a 1957 Egyptian song.  The original artist is no longer alive, but his nephew is and has filed suit looking for Jay Z to cough up the damages.

Justin Bieber broke his silence in reference to allegations that he got a female fan pregnant.  Justin released a statement on Twitter saying he was going to focus "on the positives".  Bieber just released his highly anticipated Christmas album this week, so this kind of news is the last thing he needed.

Looks like my girl Janet will be doing more then just singing these days, Ms. Jackson is taking it a step further in the acting field.
