There are no two visages more recognizable in contemporary rap than Kanye West and Jay-Z. So in the marketing push for ‘Watch the Throne,’ the duo’s upcoming collaboration, it only makes sense to fuse the megastars’ mugs together.
Jay Z clears up a rumor in a interview with New York's Hot 97. Eligibly, Hov and Ye now have a beef over the upcoming Watch The Throne tour. It's rumored that the two got into it mainly over how elaborate the set was gonna be and cost, then got into an argument at which time Jay supposedly slapped Kanye'.

With the title of their joint album project, Kanye West and Jay-Z warned us to ‘Watch the Throne’ — and now we’ll have an opportunity to do it in person.
The duo, whose work will now be performed under the name the Throne, will release tickets for their fall tour on August 8th — not coincidentally, the same day ‘Watch the Throne’ is scheduled to finally make its iTunes debut.
Kanye West and Jay-Z have leaked the single ‘Otis’ from their collaborative album ‘Watch the Throne,’ which is set for an August 1st release. The titular ‘Otis’ is late soul legend Otis Redding, whose vocals from the classic ‘Try a Little Tenderness’ are sampled in the song.

Turns out that while Jay-Z's been telling us to 'Watch the Throne,' he's been getting to work on his next solo album.
Talking to MTV about the heavily-hyped 'Throne,' a joint project with Kanye West, Jay-Z revealed that he's already two songs into his next solo effort -- and that "I know exactly the tone and the whole feel of the album." He went on to discuss the way recording with West influenced him, saying "I think when you experience creativity, you should get it out as much as possible."
