Two Arrested in Stabbing of a Man at Local Hotel in Lake Charles

I attended the "National Night Out Against Crime" at the Anita Drive Community Center, along with X.O. and the Black Militia Movement on hand to help a few kids start the year off right.
One shooter is in custody and the hunt is on for his partner in the killing of a 23-year-old man and the shooting of a 62-year-old woman on North Cherry Street Thursday. LCPD Chief Don Dixon said detectives are looking for any information the public can provide on the unidentified second shooter.

This afternoon, investigators with the Lake Charles field office of the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, the Lake Charles City Police, and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations conducted a search warrant at the residence of 35-year-old Benjamin Wild of Lake Charles. The warrant was the result of an Operation Child Watch investigation initiated earlier this year involving child pornography downloaded onto Wild’s computer.
We all remember a few weeks back, we reported that the Millennium park had been set on fire. I had my reasons to believe it was this and that until today. Apparently LCPD has come up with a suspect!
