Two Arrested in Stabbing of a Man at Local Hotel in Lake Charles

From the desk of the Lake Charles Police Department, on January 27th, 2013, officers responded to a stabbing at the Oasis Inn and Suites located at 1000 North Lakeshore Drive. A male victim was stabbed in a guest room and taken to a local hospital for treatment for multiple stab wounds. Two suspects were later apprehended walking south bound on Bilbo Street near Broad Street. Officers making the arrests were Corporal J. Wall, Corporal S. Dougherty, and Officer T. McGee. Detective Sergeant Fondel is handling the follow up investigation.
21 year old Juan Fernando (W/M) of 2000 14th Street, Lake Charles, was arrested and charged with attempted 2nd Degree Murder, and his bond is set at $500,000.00.
28 year old Juan Martinez (W/M) of 2000 Enterprise Boulevard, Lake Charles, was arrested and charged with attempted 2nd Degree Murder, and his bond is also set at $500,000.00.
