2 Chainz Announces Sophomore Album Release Date

2 Chainz is in the studio cooking up something new for the follow-up to last summer's 'Based on a T.R.U. Story.'

The ATL rhymer will release his sophomore LP on Sept. 10. He made the announcement via Twitter Thursday night (May 23). "FEATURES ON HAULT... NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY SEPTEMBER TENTH!!!!" he wrote.

Until then, 2 Chainz will be coming to an arena near you as he begins a long summer tour across the country, kicking off this Memorial Day weekend. He'll be performing in Las Vegas on May 25 and will hit Washington D.C. the following day.

Tity Boi is also on the bill for Lil Wayne's America's Most Wanted Tour, which kicks off July 9 in Birmingham, Ala.
