2011 Top Earning Women In Music

As the year winds down I'll be bringing you "Year End" details and news on some of the biggest moments in 2011. For starters it was a huge year in music and the women in the industry raked in some big bucks. From CD sales, promotions, endorsements and tours the ladies in music was " getting it in". Here is this years top money makers:

Lady Gaga was just announced as Forbes top-earning woman in music for 2011. Ironically, she said she had to get drunk to calm her nerves when singing her 2010 tax return. Gaga netted an unbelievable $90 million this year claiming the number one spot. Coming in at number two is America's sweet heart Taylor Swift, who at the tender age of 22 pulled in $45 million.

Rounding out the top five are Katy Perry with $44 million, coming in at number four is Beyonce with 35 million and Rihanna in the number five position with 29 million.
