Advisory: Some Public Facilities Closed Through Thursday, Due to Freeze

In an effort to protect pipes and water supply at public facilities, the City of Lake Charles will close several locations.

They will be closing the public restrooms located at Tuten Park, Lock Park, the Gill St. extension (Civic Center), and the PPG Fountain (Civic Center) through Thursday, January 4, 2018, due to the hard freeze, said a media release. All other public restrooms and facilities including Millenium Park will remain open.

The facilities will re-open once temperatures rise on Thursday, January 4, 2018.
