Today in Tha Wire authorities say they answered a call about a shooting at a Southwest Atlanta home yesterday. Atlanta PD reported the victim was shot around 4:30 PM multiple times at his home, after an argument with another man. According to CNN affiliate, CBS46 in Atlanta the suspect fled the scene after firing the shots in a car, and it's not clear if police have any leads or motive.

The victim was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office as 37-year old Sutton Tennyson, the ex-fiancee of Growing Up Hip Hop reality star Angela Simmons. Angela inadvertently confirmed the tragic news, by posting photos of Sutton holding their 2-year old son Sutton Joesph Tennyson Jr. The couple called it quits soon after their son was born after alleged cheating allegations in 2017 but remained cordial to co-parent the happy toddler.

Obviously devastated by Sutton's untimely death, Simmons wrote on her page, "Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I'm hurting. I'm numb. Angela also thanks friends and fans for their outpouring support. ATL authorities report to CNN that Tennyson was involved in an argument and there were at least three individuals inside his garage at the time of the shooting. At last word police don't have the identities of any of them, nor anyone in custody.

It's being assumed that a neighbor called 911 after hearing the shots, when police arrived on the scene they found Tennyson with multiple gunshot wounds inside an open garage. His murder is under investigation. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Angela, her little boy, and their families. We gotta find another way to deal with our differences. May he rest in peace. I will keep you posted with any new details.
