Balls Fried Chicken Hints Opening Date For Lake Charles Location!

Hey Southwest Louisiana! I was just scrolling through Facebook and look what I found. This has got the best news I've heard all year! Owners Reggie and Angela Brown-Ball recently shared this exciting message on Facebook:

Everyone who always asked me when was the restaurant opening…my response was always…”In Gods time”.
Well it’s finally happening, and we will share the date with our AWESOME COMMUNITY SOON!!

When I saw this I almost fell out of my chair! I'll go a step further and say, without fear of contradiction, that EVERYONE in Lake Charles has been waiting for the doors of the family-owned business to open. There is nothing in the entire area that has that can compare to Ball's Fried Chick-N.

Nearly every resident in SWLA would agree. These birds hit differently! Of course, some of the reason is because they use their own original Ball's Seasoning. If you are not from the area, let me just inform you that you haven't had chicken until you've had Ball's Fried Chick-N.

The Ball family has been on a long road to recovery after the restaurant was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Laura. Angela Ball said they've been hard at work with plans to reopen their famous Lake Charles restaurant. Judging from her recent Facebook post, the time is near.

“We got some water damage, so we’re gonna have to replace the ceiling tile, insulation, lighting, ductwork, and the air conditioner. There are still some things that need to be done,” Mrs. Ball said a while back.

Thankfully the rebuilding chapter for the iconic family Chick-N joint is over and the future is looking bright! I know I am not alone when I say, the community is ready for some good ol' Ball's Fried Chick-N! In the meantime, we'll be watching for the "Now Open" sign on the door!
