Big Brothers Big Sisters Launching Virtual Recruitment Campaign

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana is launching a virtual recruitment campaign to help raise awareness about the agency's need for more volunteer mentors. There is obviously an added need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While this pandemic is going on, there is still a need for safe, strong, and active mentoring relationships. The agency will begin to use video conferencing services utilizing Zoom, Skype, and other means of communications to complete the interviews and enrollment.

Once a match has been found, they will have to complete virtual match meetings and must only have contact via video for a minimum of three months before agency staff will allow the Big and Little to meet in person for activities going forward.
