Cardi B is reportedly working on a new album, and while the New York rapper takes some extended time off from touring, she's making sure to give her fans a sneak peak of what's to come.

On Tuesday (Aug. 2), the "Be Careful" rhymer shared a snippet of her rapping along to a previously unreleased song. Spitting over a frantic, bouncy instrumental, Cardi raps, "Do you hate my attitude or is just my appearance/Are you mad I get paid just to make an appearance/Are you mad your baby dad wanna make me a parent/I look good in anything—Fashion Nova on clearance."

While Bardi didn't reveal any more details about the song, she recently said she's working on a follow-up to her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, and revealed fans could expect to see the project this fall.

"I did features with artists—I don't know when they're gonna put their music out. I'm gonna have a project coming out in the fall, and I'm gonna work," she said during an Instagram Live session. "People, my life is not over, you know? I just have to take my time with to do certain things, because my body really cannot take it."

In related news, Cardi was supposed to be joining pop star Bruno Mars on his upcoming 24K Magic tour but the rapper was forced to drop out after revealing she wasn't ready to tour again following her pregnancy. The rapper said she "underestimated this whole mommy thing" and claimed she's not physically ready to tour.
