If you drove into downtown Lake Charles you used to see the Capital One tower which was all boarded up since 2020 when Hurricane Laura devastated Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana. The tower had been sitting empty since the hurricane and finally, the tower was demolished.

A Lake Charles resident took her costume to new heights as she dressed like the Capital One tower for Halloween in a spooky tribute to the Lake Charles skyline.

Halloween isn't until next Thursday but there are plenty of Halloween events going on this weekend in the area.

The weather is going to be gorgeous so get out and do something fun. Here's what is going on.
