Chaka Gets Her Star

Chaka Khan has finally received her well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week.   The legendary diva was both honored and shocked saying "Do I deserve this, all I'm doing is what I love to do?"  Chaka believe it or not is the 2,440th celebrity to get a star on "The Walk".

Chaka Khan launched her career with the funk band Rufus back in the 70's.  The rest is pretty much history with her winning 10 Grammys with the group and during her solo career.  She  scored hits like "Sweet Thing" and "Ain't Nobody".  Chaka has released 13 studio albums with the last being "Funk This" in 2007 of which she won a Grammy.

Yes you deserve this Chaka, congratulations!!!!
