Outdoor Movie Night presents "Sing" this Friday May 26^th,2017. The event will be at Huber Park, Lake Charles, La  beginning at 7:30 pm and going until. The event is free to the public and concessions will be available.

This Saturday May 27th. There will be a Pool Party with a purpose. This is a free admission pool party located at the 2^nd ave Pool from 4 pm -7 pm. It’s open for kids 11-17 with free food, lifeguard on duty and security provided.

Downtown at Sundown which is a free concert series locally is going down this Friday night May 26th beginning at 6 pm with Boomerang live in concert. There will be food and vendors on location as well for the event. The series will be going on until the 9^th of June.

Sunday Funnies Open Mic Comedy Night at Luna Live on Ryan Street in Lake Charles. This event is dedicated to giving local and regional comics ad place to work new comedy material and really hone their craft. The event is free and open to the public

Texas Frog Festival will be Memorial Day Weekend May 27^th- May 28^th at Crystal Beach, Texas. The event benefits the Lone Survivor Foundation’s Crystal Beach Retreat Facility. The event includes food, music and plenty of activities for all to enjoy.

There will  be a time capsule event happening where a capsule will be open after 150 years downtown lake Charles this Friday evening around 5 pm.

The End of School Kick Back at Lake Charles Boston This Friday May 25^th hosted by Mike B and Kush Kidd. The event is open for all area high school students for plenty of fun and great music.

Children’s Museum will have a Fish Bowl Workshop at the Children’s Museum located 327 Broad Street in Lake Charles on Friday May 26^th beginning at 11 am and for ages 4 and up.

USS Orleck Daily Tours happen weekly and are going through July 10^th, 2017. This event is located at the USS Orleck Naval Museum 605 North Enterprise Blvd from 10 am- 3pm Monday –Friday and 10 am – 4pm on Saturday.
