Today in Tha Wire, Ciara is ready to hit the road in support of her new album and Game is being investigated for punching an off-duty cop in the face.

AllHipHop.com reports after six years Ciara is heading back out on the road.  Cici made the big announcement on Twitter this week and revealed to fans the Jackie tour will jump-off May 3rd in Chicago.  As no surprise the singers upcoming road trip, shares the title of her sixth studio album Jackie.  For now, there's no release date on the LP, but one things for sure it'll include her new single “I Bet,” for which the video debuted earlier this month.

As for the Jackie tour, it'll stop off to 18 cities including two dates close to home. Listen to Tha Wire below to find out when and where.  In the meantime, peep other cities the tour will stop off too.

By the way no word on opening acts, but I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear something.  This is looking to be a big year for Ciara.  Between music and being the mother of nine-month-old, Future Zahir Wilburn, she's also taping a new variety show for NBC.  Look for CiCi appear in the TV variety show “I Can Do That,” hosted by Marlon Wayans.

The new show will feature a celebrity cast, who'll work in pairs and compete against one another by acting out various challenges each week.  Rap-up.com reports "I Can Do That” has already started filming and is set to premier this summer.

There'll be six celeb regulars on the show and in addition to Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger, Joe Jonas, “Dancing With the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke, comedian Jeff Dye, and actor Alan Ritchson will also participate.

Finally, TMZ reports rapper/actor Game may catch some battery charges as a result of his latest basketball scuffle.  We all know Game is quick to lay hands on folks and he's had quite a few parking lot, club and b-ball court run-ins over the years.

The latest incident took place during a pick-up basketball game, were the rapper delivered a devastating blow to the face of an off duty L.A. cop.  It's not clear if Game knew the guy was a cop or not, but according to TMZ, the LAPD is now investigating the incident and he could be looking at some battery charges.  Check footage of the incident below.
