Future had at least one of the badest sista’s in the game and yet it seems, it wasn’t good enough says a source close to today’s latest news.  According to reports, after 10 months Ciara has ended her engagement to rapper Future.  Allegedly CiCi caught him cheating and she ain’t having it.  The couple got engaged on Ciara’s birthday last year in October when the rapper put a 15-carat ring on it.  Three months ago, Ciara gave birth to the couple’s first child together and named her baby-boy Future Zahir Wilburn.

Us Weekly reports a so-called source told them Ciara is “devastated” and “[Future] cheated on her. Game over, Ciara’s “focus now is the baby.”  As always, I will treat this as a rumor until I get better confirmation.  So far, neither Ciara or Future have issued a statement, but when and if they do, I’ll bring u the details.  I hope it’s not true though, they really made a cute couple….I’ll be pulling for them.  In the meantime, in the way of good news, look for the R&B to be featured in MTV’s House of Style, which is back with it’s new host rap femcee, Iggy Azalea. This season is already underway, so be sure to check it out on MTV.com

In other news the Toronto Raptors showed Drake how much he really means to the team.  AllHipHop reports, the NBA offered to revoke Toronto’s $25,000 “public recruiting” fine, after Drake allegedly attempted to recruit Kevin Durant during his OVO fest.  Take a peek at the video below.  What do you think?  Was Drizzy trying to offer the famous baller another gig or not?

Last September, Drake was name his hometown teams “global ambassador”, however he must not have been informed there were limits to his role and power with the new position.  Needless to say, the NBA fined the Toronto Raptors for $25,000 over Drakes actions and then had a change of heart promising to drop the fine if the team fired the rapper.  To which, Canadian news outlet The Globe and Mail reported yesterday (August 12th) the Raptors declined.

So looks like the NBA team will take the hit and keep their man Drizzy!  Good move, if you ask me.  Anyway for more on today's Wire and celeb birthday's listen now.
