If you are a hip hop fan then there is no way that you have not heard of DJ Premier, Guru and Gang Starr. What's funny is that these two truly influenced the game of hip hop especially in New York. Guru was originally from Boston and DJ Premier was from Houston.

The hip hop world lost Guru passed away 2010 and the group known as Gang Starr was no more. DJ Premier went on to produce for everyone like Christina Aguilera, Joey Bada$$, Fat Joe, Mack Wild and so many more. I have never seen an official interview with him where he actually got to talk about his life and how they initially got started. The Breakfast Club caught up with DJ Premier to talk about his humble beginnings and more.
