For years many, mostly conspiracy theorists, have speculated that the late rapper Tupac Shakur could possibly still be alive and living peacefully on an island sipping glasses of "thug passion." As far as we know though, the late rapper died on September 13, 1996, at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, in Las Vegas, from gunshot wounds he sustained on September 6, 1996, following the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson fight.

It's been over 20 years since Pac's death and we still don't know who took his life at just the age of 25.

According to TMZ, Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight recently spoke with Ice T and Soledad O'Brien over the phone from prison about his last time seeing Tupac, and according to him the "How Long Will They Mourn Me" rapper was laughing and joking with him when he left the hospital.

"When Pac died. If he really did. I mean when I left that hospital me and Pac was laughing and joking. So, I don't see how somebody can turn from doing well to doing bad."

The excerpt from Suge is part of an upcoming special with Ice T and Soledad O'Brien titled "Who Shot Biggie & Tupac?", as they look to uncover new details and witness accounts in the shooting deaths of both late rappers. It's set to air Sunday, September 24 on FOX.

When Suge was asked if he thought Pac was still alive, he simply stated: "With Pac, you never know."

Maybe he's in Belize, chilling with Shyne? I didn't have time to check while I was there, my bad, I dropped the ball.
