Donald Glover had a stellar 2016, and this year is kicking off on a great note as he accepted several awards for his FX series, “Atlanta,” at the 2017 Golden Globes Awards.

While on stage the actor/rapper, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, also thanked fellow hometown rap trio The Migos for making “Bad and Boujee.”

Glover ended his speech with the following, “I couldn’t be here without Atlanta... I really want to thank The Migos, not for being in the show, but for making Bad and Boujee. Like that’s the best song, ever.”  We agree, they have one of the hottest songs ever topping the charts as we speak.

What a way to spike the numbers on iTunes and other streaming services, right? The shout out it in fact did boost the sales of their first top 10 hit. The Migos certainly cashed in on the shout out via their Instagram, with a clip of Donald Glover’s speech and the caption reads “RESPECT @donaldglover_.”
