Donald Sterling’s Mistress V. Stiviano Ordered To Pay His Wife $2.6 Million – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, Donald Sterling's wife wins $2.6 million judgement, the amount in lavish gifts, her husband spent on his mistress.

V. Stiviano former L.A Clippers owner Donald Sterling's mistress is getting her karma in more ways than one.  Stiviano was also the one to release the infamous recording of Sterling telling her not to bring African Americans to his games.  As you know the recording ultimately caused a firestorm of events to unfold, from Sterling being outed as racist, losing his team, being fined millions to being banned from the NBA for life.

For a while it looked as though Stiviano had gotten away with being the other woman and all the lavish gifts her billionaire lover showered her with.  But according the Huffington Post (HP), that is not the case.   As it turns out, Mrs. Sterling was well aware of the affair and had filed a $2.6 million lawsuit against Stiviano in March of 2014, which was one month before she exposed Donald Sterling.

Tuesday (April 14) this week, Shelly Sterling got the last laugh when Judge Richard Fruin Jr. ruled that Stiviano has to pay her back all the money Donald Sterling spent on her during their affair.  HP reports Sterling spoiled his mistress with a Ferrari, Bentley, Range Rover and a lavish duplex which totaled up to $2.6 million.  How's that for karma? The judge ruled Stiviano has to give it all back including her house.

By the way, her legal teamed tried to say the Sterling's were separated when she was given all the expensive gifts, but the judge didn't buy it.  FYI, the Sterling's have been married for 60-years.

Mrs. Sterling's attorney Pierce O'Donnell said of the big win,

“Shelly is thrilled with the decision.  This is certainly a victory for the Sterling family whose funds were dissipated by Donald to lavish millions of dollars of gifts on a conniving mistress.”
