Lake Charles Summer Concert Series To End With Epic Glow Show
It's been a wonderful Downtown At Sundown (D.A.S) 2025 festival series, with amazing local organization participation, music talent, vendors, and community turnout. Unfortunately, this year's festivities are coming to an end. However, that's only to start the background preparations for the annual local event to spring back with an even bigger 2026 Southwest Louisiana celebration.
Until then, as Downtown Lake Charles prepares to close out its biggest free summer concert series with a bang! It's worth noting all of the work that goes into planning an event like this. Shout out to everyone who plays a role in pulling D.A.S. together year after year, with special thanks to Sasol and Lake Charles Toyota for helping to ensure it's a free public event as well.
Over the past few weeks, Downtown at Sundown has transformed the heart of Lake Charles into a live music mecca — featuring the best music entertainment highlighting everything from Zydeco, Rock, Funk, Blues, and Soul. With food trucks, artisan vendors, family-friendly fun, and a crowd that knows how to have a good time.
All of these elements are why the Downtown Lake Charles series has become a summertime staple that locals look forward to every year. But now, it’s time for the final act — and this one’s pulling out all the stops.
DOWNTOWN AT SUNDOWN FRIDAY JUNE 13, 2025 LINEUP
It’s Campus Connection Night, presented by Sasol — an evening curated for local businesses, college students, and young professionals to mix, mingle, and get their groove on to a bit of Rock and Blues.

Zach Edwards and the Medicine | A 7-piece psychedelic blues band with a horn section? Yes, please! Get ready to dance.
For the first time, Downtown at Sundown introduces an After Glow Show experience that'll jump off at 9:00 PM, presented by Lake Charles Toyota. The block is gonna be hot with DJ Secret Stache throwing down in front of a 3D projection display at 1000 Ryan Street complete with lasers, lights, and some wild special effects to cap off the season in style.
