Last night, the 2016 American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, where some of the biggest names in today's music were in attendance. While the night saw some stellar performances from our favorite artists in both hip hop and pop music, there was a lengthy list of names on the winners sheet.

Drake, who made history for having the most nominations of any artist, walked away with a total of four awards, and was in attendance to give acceptance speeches for favorite artist, album, and song in the hip-hop categories. His four wins were matched by Justin Bieber, who was able to take home major awards for video of the year, favorite male artist, favorite rock/pop song, and favorite rock/pop album.

Other winners on the lineup included Ariana Grande, who snagged the biggest award of the evening, artist of the year, while Beyoncé won an award for her Formation Tour. Rihanna also managed to get herself some major awards, landing three wins with favorite R&B song, favorite R&B female artist, and favorite R&B album.
