Eddie Murphy Returns to Host SNL This Saturday Night

This Saturday all doors will be locked to NBC for the return of Eddie Murphy to the place he can call home. This will be the first time that Eddie actually returned to host since he left the show in 1984 when his star started shining with classics like 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop and more.

I haven't been this excited about Saturday Night Live

since Dave Chappelle made his comeback to the show and hosted along with bringing along some of his funny characters from The Chappelle Show.

However Eddie opted not to do the traditional promo featuring some of the funny and often corny tidbits from his predecessors, but this promo makes a statement.

Eddie really made a splash this year with the Dolemite movie and news about a new Beverly Hills Cop and upcoming comedy special coming soon. I think it's safe to say that the sky is the limit for Eddie for a second time around.
