A snippet of an old Eminem verse has made its way to the internet, and in it, the Detroit rapper is seemingly siding with Chris Brown over his 2009 domestic violence case with Rihanna.

Though the origins of the leaked track are unclear, it seemingly first popped up on Reddit on Sunday (Nov. 3) with the title "(SNIPPET) Eminem - Things Get Worse (Rihanna Diss)." Em does not mince words on his verse.

"Of course I side with Chris Brown, I'd beat a bitch down too," he raps.

According to reports, it's allegedly a scrapped verse from the sessions for Em's 2009 album Relapse. While it didn't make the cut, a different version of Em's verse appeared on B.o.B.'s 2011 track of the same name. There is no mention of Rihanna or Chris Brown in that verse, but Eminem does mention other celebrity women including Jessica Simpson, Angelina Jolie and Dakota Fanning, the latter of whom he raps about murdering.

In the past, Eminem and Rihanna have had a close working relationship and have collaborated multiple times on chart-topping hits including 2010's "Love The Way You Lie," 2012's "Numb" and 2013's "The Monster." The pair even toured together in 2014.

This is just the most recent Eminem song to leak to the internet over the last few eeks. On Halloween (Oct. 31), a Joyner Lucas snippet reportedly titled "What If I Was Gay?" made its way online. The track features both Joyner and Eminem rapping about the stigma of being gay—Joyner from the perspective of a gay man, and Em from the perspective of a homophobic man.

"What if I told you I’m homophobic?/And you have zero control over your impulses/And the genetic flaw in your chromosomes is the culprit," Em raps on his verse. "It’s something I can’t sugarcoat, it’s repulsive."

As of press time, Eminem, Chris Brown nor Rihanna have commented on the leak.

XXL has reached out to Eminem's team for comment.
