These sistas stayed at the top of the charts and reigned supreme from 1989 till 1996.
The original group consisted of Dawn Robinson, Terry Ellis, Maxine Jones and Cindy Herron. Since their hay day, the group has gone through a few changes with Dawn leaving in 1997 and Maxine in 2001. Through the years both singers would return for a brief period of time, before leaving for good. Today the group is a trio and includes Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron-Braggs and Rhona Bennett, who joined back in 2001. For a few years Bennett kinda took a backseat, while Dawn and Maxine made their returns and exits from the group.
