Although you can't recreate the past. There are ways to enjoy things from the past. Lately there have been alot of hip hop records that are sampling some of those classic hits from back in the day. While this is not anything new. With the Colonel Loud California song, he sampled a Frankie Beverly and Maze song which was a first. There have not been many who had the rights to do so.

Now we are having even more of the throwback songs being used to benefit new artist who are conquering the charts. Terror Squad members Fat Joe and Remy Ma took radio by storm with their single All The Way up and had everyone on the floor. This time they hooked up with Ty Dolla Sign and took an old Ralph Tresvant song to make a hot track. The single is called Money Showers and the video pays homage to a hood classic "The Player's Club" starring Jamie Foxx and Lisa Raye. Check out the video below.

The funny thing about alot of the new music is that the young kids don't realize it. Well for those who don't believe me, check out the video from Ralph Tresvant from back in the day from his classic self titled album "Ralph Tresvant".
