Congrats to Prince Harry and his fiance', Meghan Markle. Princess Di's baby boy has come a long way from his bad boy adolescent years. He and his brother, Prince William, have dedicated their lives to keeping their mother's legacy of humanitarian work and causes alive. Princess Diana was involved in over 100 different charities and, would be proud to know that her devotion to help others has rubbed off on her sons.

The famous princess didn't always follow the royal rules, she followed her heart and that usually kept her on The Queen's shitlist. That's why people loved her. She bold and did what was right, not what's popular. Though her life was cut short at age 36, Princess Diana made a huge impact on the world.

During an interview with The BBC Panorama interview in 1995, the Princess of Wales spoke on moving to the beat of her own drum. She said,

"I don't go by a rule book, because I lead from the heart, not the head, and albeit that's got me into trouble in my work, I understand that," she said. "But someone's got to go out there and love people and show it."

Very much like his mother, Prince Harry could care less about breaking "royal protocol." The young prince has had his share of growing pains and rocked the royal boat many times, since his mother's tragic death. One things for sure, he's no longer the "black sheep" of the royal family. Now a grown man, Prince Harry's ready to get married and start a family. Monday morning HipHollywood and every other media outlet on the planet, announced young Harry is getting married.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday Prince Harry proposed to his girlfriend, Meghan Markles. She said yes! After getting a green light from her parents, Harry sought the blessing from the Queen of London herself. She too, said yes! So it's on, and poppin. A royal wedding is gonna go down sometime in Spring 2018!  Meghan is an American actress, formal model and humanitarian. She was raised in L.A. by her dad, Thomas W. Markle, an Emmy Award-winning Cinematographer, and mother Doria Ragland a psychotherapist and yoga instructor. Oh and she happens to be black. Go Harry! We see you. FYI, Meghan is NOT England's first Black royal. Believe it or not, England had TWO Black Queens! Who knew? Queen Philippa of Hainault (24 June 1314 – 15 August 1369,) and Charlotte of Mecklenburg (19 May 1744 – 17 November 1818.) Further Prince Harry's grandmother, her highness Queen Elizabeth, is a direct descent. Queen Charlotte’s grand-daughter, was none other than Queen Victoria.

The Prince and the soon-to-be, and first Black Dutchess, actually met last year in June on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend. They became an official couple a short time after. Markel has no children, but she was married before. She and fellow actor/producer, Trevor Engelson, were married for 7-years until their divorce in 2011. Sadly it didn't take long for the couple to hit with racist comments about their relationship. The Queen reportedly wasted no time addressing the nastiness. She assigned the Royal Family's Communications Secretary to release an official statement speak out on the "wave of abuse and harassment" directed toward Markle.

The Royal Secretary announced that any sexism, racism and defamatory stories, or remarks directed at Ms. Markle would not be tolerated. The official statement also strongly urged the press to "pause and reflect," and not engage in reporting ugly storylines.  Well good for them! We certainly wish them the very best!
