G-Eazy “Bad Boy”: Listen to Diss Aimed at Machine Gun Kelly
The beef between G-Eazy and Machine Gun Kelly is officially on. Earlier today (Aug. 31), Gerald unleashed "Bad Boy," a surgical MGK diss track we'll definitely be hearing a lot about going forward.
On the song, which was produced by Blizzy, Dakari and Grasserbeats, the Bay Area rapper wastes no time cutting into what he feels to be the heart of the beef: jealousy.
"Someone might'a lit a fire inside the soul of me/Your shots just graze me, I'm standing, they put a hole in me/I answer to no one, nobody can get control of me/MGK please stop trolling me, get over me/You wanna be me, you’re mad that you’re not as big as me/I'm everywhere, I'm your nightmare, you can't get rid of me," he spits on the track.
Elsewhere on the new song, G-Eazy claps back at MGK for claiming he'd hooked up with one of his past girlfriends. He also spotlights MGK's perceived commercial fall-off and what he feels is a lack of love from Diddy, who is the founder of MGK's record label, Bad Boy Entertainment.
G-Eazy's response comes in direct response to MGK's Funk Flex freestyle, which saw the Cleveland rapper come at Gerald pretty crazy over the Tay Keith-produced Drake beat, "Nonstop."
“Only Eazy I fuck with is with is E... I fucked his girl/Now he looks like this shit is overbearing/How dare him, I dare him/Don’t think about comparing/Now turn that frat rap off I get sick of hearing," rapped Kelly.
While Kelly's Funk Flex freestyle might have been the first sign of obvious shots at Gerald, plenty of fans suspected that MGK was subtweeting him after G-Eazy debuted his new blond hair style last month.
"[Holy] shit just be yourself homie 😂," read MGK's tweet. For those that didn't know, MGK has been sporting blond hair from the outset of his career.
