Golden Corral In Lake Charles Reopens Today

It's been a rough go for the new Golden Corral in Lake Charles ever since it was built. The restaurant was only open for about a month or two before the pandemic hit, forcing them to close their doors.

Add to that two hurricanes that caused extensive damage to the new building and that is a recipe for being shut down for quite awhile. The restaurant sustained pretty bad damage during the storms, causing the owners to have to rebuild all over again.

This morning on my way to work, I saw the sign lit up, and I saw they had put up a message saying they would be reopening on May 10. Then, I realized that May 10 is today.

So with that being said, the Golden Corral in Lake Charles is back and will reopen today. The popular restaurant chain boasts an endless buffet of food for their customers.

They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu options with tons of food options for each service. The location in Lake Charles is located at 211 West Prien Lake Road, and the website shows they will open at 11:00am this morning.

Gather the kids and the family, and get ready as another area restaurant is opening back up, showing that Lake Charles is coming back. Even if we are coming back slowly, we will take it!
