With Father Day just around the corner, encourage your father, husband, boyfriend or brother to go get a check-up.  On that same note, rap legends Ice-T and Chubb Rock are teaming up to promote good health in men.  The two MC are the new spokesmen for a new non-profit organization they founded called The Male Awareness Foundation.

The new project will be dedicated to raising awareness about healthy lifestyle choices for males, specifically fans of Hip-Hop music. Encouraging males of all ages to get screenings for a variety of cancers, including testicular, colon, pancreatic, oral and other forms of the disease.

Trey Songz‘s is raking in the dough these days and it’s not from concert or records sells.  Triggers fan club app has become a huge money-maker ever since it launched last year in December.  Believe it or not Trey’s Angel Network (aka TAN) has over 52,000 users who send his virtual bottles of champagne and imaginary chocolates for a few bucks.

As a result, according to LA Weekly Trey Songz brings in over $50,000 a month from the app.  Which is pretty cool, because it allows users to purchase credits that will give them access to exclusive content from Trigga, including voice messages, behind-the-scenes video shoots, photos and more.  Some content is free, such as text messages, however fans who want more of all things Trey, have to spend the peso's.

TAN was developed by a Santa Monica-based company called Handmade Mobile Entertainment and Trey Songz isn’t the first artist they’ve worked with.   Basically, they help celebs or other companies to not only make money, but change the way fans interact with their favorite artists.

Back to the money side of things, listen to Tha Wire below to hear how Trey plans on rolling into the 6-figure rang with his new app.
