2024 Pet Expo This Weekend In Lake Charles
The highly anticipated 2024 Pet Expo is returning to the Burton Coliseum Complex this Saturday, September 21st, offering an exciting lineup of events for pet owners, animal lovers, and families alike. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the event runs until 1 p.m., featuring everything from contests to live demonstrations, all celebrating the special bond between humans and their pets.
One of the main attractions of this year’s expo is the Pet/Owner Look-Alike Contest, where participants are encouraged to come dressed to match their pets. Attendees can fill out a registration form in advance and make sure to get their photo taken at the event between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. All contest photos will be posted on the event’s website, allowing for a weeklong voting period from Monday, September 23, at 8 a.m., through Friday, September 27, at 5 p.m. The winner will be announced on Monday, September 30, through the expo’s social media channels and website, with the lucky duo being contacted directly.
If fashion is more your pet’s style, the Pet Fashion Show is set to steal the spotlight. Pets dressed to impress will take the stage, with the lineup starting at 10:30 a.m., and the show officially kicking off at 11 a.m. This event promises to be a crowd favorite, showcasing creativity, personality, and some of the most stylish pets around.
Adding a touch of magic to the day’s festivities, Aaron Baca, The Southern Gentleman, will perform at 12:15 p.m., bringing his unique blend of magic and charm to entertain both young and old.
In addition to the contests and performances, attendees can explore vendor booths, and demonstrations throughout the day. With FREE admission the 2024 Pet Expo is a fun-filled event the whole family can enjoy.
