On Wednesday, the Southeastern Conference announced the release of the much anticipated 2024 SEC Football opponents. Since the league announced that Texas and Oklahoma would be joining the Southeastern Conference, fans and coaches have wondered how the SEC slate would look.

Earlier this week, the SEC it was announced that they would keep an eight-game conference slate after lots of talk surrounding the potential for the conference to move to a nine-game conference schedule.

LSU already knew its four non-conference games, one of which included a matchup on opening weekend in Las Vegas versus the USC Trojans. Other opponents on the 2024 non-conference slate were Nicholls, UCLA, and South Alabama.

On Thursday, the SEC would announce the conference opponents the Tigers would face and the locations of those games. No dates and times have been set for the conference games at this time, as those will come at a later date.

In 2024, the LSU Tigers will host Alabama, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Tigers will have to travel to face Texas A&M, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina.

The notable "traditional" games that are no longer featured on the Tigers 2024 schedule will be matchups with Mississippi State and, Auburn.
