Best Proposal Spots in Louisiana Revealed for National Proposal Day
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — As I was checking the National Day Calendar today I see that this Friday March 21st is National Proposal Day. This got me thinking about one of the most important days in my life, the day I asked Laura to marry me.
If you know Laura you know that she is a die hard New Orleans Saints Fan. I thought about the perfect spot to ask the question and a Saints game was what I choose. I got us ticket to the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was there Super Bowl Season so this story dates back to 2009. We enjoyed the Game 11 rows up from the Field. When the game was over, we walked down to the field and I popped the question, of course she said yes.....who wouldnt.
This got me thinking about the "Best Proposal Spot in Louisiana". After a quick search I ran across an article from TheKnot.com.
Where are the Best Proposal Spots in Louisiana?
Old State Capitol
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Go to Louisiana's Old State Capitol building in downtown Baton Rouge if you want to impress your significant other. Known for its "the spiraling, grand staircase is fit for a Queen and the colorful stained-glass windows offer a unique, vintage and picturesque environment.""
City Park
New Orleans, Louisiana
City Park is one of the most well-liked locations in New Orleans for proposals. Because of its size, the park reduces the risk of crowds or photo-bombers while you're down on one knee.
Rip Van Winkle Gardens
New Iberia, Louisiana
The Rip Van Winkle Gardens in South Louisiana are undoubtedly among the greatest locations in Louisiana to pop the question, with their 350-year-old oak trees and lush waterfront walkways. It's crucial to understand that professional photography on the property costs $50 per hour.
Tiger Stadium
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
LSU and its athletics have a particular place in the hearts and relationships of many Louisiana couples. Likewise, Shaw highlights Tiger Stadium as a "go-to venue for proposals." The most "ideal spot outside the stadium is directly in front of the upstairs entrance to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC), which hosts LSU basketball games.
I was upset to see that Southwest Louisiana didnt have any "idea" locations. I am sure there are tons of places here, send me a message and let rally to get the perfect spot right here in our own back yard.
