
Concerts, Parades Launch Mardi Gras Weekend Across SWLA
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - Well, it is her,e folks. This Friday, February 13th, will officially start the Mardi Gras weekend and run for five days straight. That is right, concerts, parades, events, and festivities will be in full swing all across Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana.
Every week, we do a post for you with all the concerts, sporting events, festivals, and events going on each weekend, and this week, we have a special 2026 Mardi Gras edition so that you know what is going on all over the area.

People will start lining up on Ryan Street as early as Thursday night or earlier Friday morning to stake claim on the parade route for a slew of parades that are scheduled to happen for the next five days. On top of parades, there will be concerts being held in the area, too.

The Zydeco Boss will be back in Lake Charles for the biggest Mardi Gras party each year in Lake Charles, Lundi Gras, on Monday, February 16h. It takes place at Cowboy's nightclub located at 5329 Common Street, and it is one party you don't want to miss. Keith and his band will play for 2 1/2 hours straight, having you dancing all night long.
Advance tickets are on sale at the Townsquare Media Studios at 900 North Lakeshore Drive, Monday through Friday, or at Cowboys Nightclub. Advance ticket holders get in early, before the doors open at 7:00 pm to the public.
