Coushatta Casino’s New Legacy Tower Opening Date Announced

Kinder, Louisiana [KNGT-FM] - If you have driven down Highway 165 in Kinder, Louisiana lately and passed by Coushatta Casino Resort, chances are you have seen the new hotel being built.

It's a brand-new eight-story hotel called The Legacy, set to open in May 2026 at the resort. The new hotel features 204 guest rooms, including 100 luxury suites, and is directly connected to the largest gaming floor in Louisiana. This thing is incredible.

When it opens, visitors will also be able to see the huge new lobby that connects you to everything, like the casino entrance and the brand new Starbucks. The Hoel also features a massive seven-story LED screen on the outside of the building.

They have also upgraded the casino floor in preparation for the opening of the new hotel and lobby area. They have announced that the new Legacy Hotel will open on Monday, May 18, 2026.

There are also great events scheduled for this Summer at Coushatta. One is the annual two-day Coushata Powwow, held inside the pavilion behind the casino. It is a family-friendly event that you will definitely want to take the family to.

Coming up in July 2026, the Coushatta Crossroads festival will be back for its 16th year. It is a day filled with the who's who of Cajun and Zydeco music on two separate stages inside the pavilion at Coushatta. The festival date and full entertainment lineup will be announced soon.
