Can you believe that it has been almost three years since McNeese Football's press box was devastated by Hurricane Laura and Delta? The old press box was three stories tall and most of it took a hard hit destroying most of the press box.

The university ended up having to tear down the whole press box due to damage suffered and probably due to safety too. For the past two seasons, the press and radio broadcasts have been housed inside the Cowboy Club in the South endzone of the stadium.

Good news Cowboy fans, progress is being made at the stadium. If you can remember after the hurricanes, the Pokes had to play all-day games at home because they didn't have any stadium lights either. That got fixed and the McNeese football team was able to play games at home at night last season.
