About The Crying Eagle Lakefront Location in Lake Charles
The brand new lakefront Crying Eagle location is GORGEOUS! It sits right on the water, offering both indoor and outdoor dining, three full bars, and a relaxing lounge area. There’s even a to-go window by the water for folks who want to grab a bite on the go.
The kitchen is led by award-winning Chef Lyle Broussard, known for his creative take on Louisiana cooking. The menu celebrates the best of the Gulf with dishes like pan-seared scallops in andouille cream, Gulf Coast Gnocchi, and a Lakefront Seafood Platter that shows off the day’s freshest catches.
If you’re not in the mood for seafood, there’s plenty more to enjoy with items like beer-braised short ribs, a juicy double-cut pork chop with pepper jelly glaze, and even Wagyu smash burgers with special sauces. Guests can also share small plates, try seasonal soups and salads, and enjoy tasty sides like parmesan-crusted okra or truffle fries.
Crying Eagle Lakefront also has 10 house-brewed beers on tap, all made right here in Lake Charles by Brewmaster Ryan O’Donnell and Head Brewer Andrew Duhon. Favorites include the Lakefront Lager, De Nada Mexican Lager, and the flavorful Front Porch Breakfast IPA.
