Louisiana’s Favorite Beer Revealed… And It’s Surprising
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — I gotta be honest with y’all… when it comes to Beer, I ain’t the type to just grab anything out the cooler.
If you know me, you already know… I’m reaching for a Miller Lite every single time. The “Gold Tops.” That’s what I call ‘em. Something about that gold lid just feels right.
Now look, everybody’s got their go-to beer. Some folks are loyal to one brand like it’s family… others will try anything cold. But it got me thinking the other day…
What’s Louisiana’s favorite beer?
And I’ll be real with ya… the answer kinda surprised me.
According to a study from Grillio.com, the most popular beer in Louisiana is Natural Light. Yep. Natty Light. I know… I had to double check it too.
And here’s the wild part… folks up in Missouri picked the same thing. So I guess we got a little something in common with them after all.
Now before you start arguing in the comments, let’s talk about why this even matters.
Beer ain’t just a drink. It’s part of how we hang out. Crawfish boils, tailgates, festivals, sittin’ around the fire pit… there’s almost always a cold one nearby.
Truth is, beer is one of the most popular drinks in the whole world. Right up there with water, coffee, and tea. Every year, Americans drink over 2 billion liters of it. That’s a whole lotta cans getting cracked open.
From light beers to dark stouts, there’s something for everybody. And around here in Louisiana, we don’t play when it comes to good times and cold drinks.
The study used Google search data to figure out what folks are looking up the most in each state. So this ain’t just guesses… it’s based on what people are actually searching for.
So yeah… Louisiana picked Natural Light. Me? I’m still rolling with my Gold Tops. But now I gotta ask y’all…What’s YOUR go-to beer when you open that ice chest?
