Baton Rouge, LA [KNGT-FM - The LSU Football team returns to Baton Rouge this weekend after their big game against Ole Miss in Oxford. The results weren't what LSU football fans had hoped for, especially with all the storylines behind that game.

Ole Miss fans wanted to beat LSU badly since it was the return of their old coach, Lane Kiffin, who left the program in the middle of the season last year to take the LSU football head coaching job. That decision really angered the Ole Miss faithful, especially since the team was entering the college football playoffs with a chance to make it all the way to the National Championship.

LSU made a valiant comeback but came up short in a 32-24 loss. The loss dropped the Tigers in the polls while vaulting Ole Miss into the top 5. LSU now sits as the #10-ranked team in the country, while Ole Miss moved up to #4 in the rankings.

Next up for LSU is a home game in Death Valley against the Texas A&M Aggies. The game is set for a 6:30 pm kickoff in Baton Rouge on Saturday night, September 26th. The Aggies are also coming off a loss to Kentucky last Saturday, 31-21.

According to the LSU sports website, the game is sold out, but they referred us to a secondary market ticket outlet to get tickets, and let us just say, the loss to Ole Miss isn't deterring ticket sellers from asking crazy prices for tickets to this Saturday's game.

Now, if you want to sit in the nosebleed section for LSU vs. Texas A&M, tickets are running from $150 to $200 a piece. Now, if you want to sit in the lower bowl, you'd better have some cash stashed aside. On the secondary market, like SeatGeek, tickets are being offered from $680 up to $1350.

If you decide to pay these prices and go to the game, wear Gold because it's the annual Gold game this weekend.

So I am a huge LSU football fan, but I am not trying to go into debt to go watch a game. I don't know about you, but I think I'll just sit on my back porch and watch it from home.
