One of those athletes that has seen a ton of success off the court is Angel Reese. Reese is one of the leading women in the NCAA's NIL push that allows student-athletes to make money on their Name, Image, and Likeness. Recently, Reese was honored at the ESPY's with the 2023 Breakthrough Athlete of the Year award.

Reese was honored on Monday with the revealing of "Angel Reese Court" at a newly renovated basketball court in Randallstown, Maryland.

"Seeing my name on a basketball court in my hometown -- a court where I played as a child -- is a full-circle moment," Reese said. "I go to LSU but Baltimore, Randallstown is always home for me. I just want to thank everyone for coming and to give hope to the kids in the crowd that one day this could be you."

 

Also at the event in Randallstown, the Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott announced that Reese will be honored at the Baltimore City Hall Rotunda. They presented Angel with a key to the city. During the event, Reese met with local fans and held a meet and greet for all to attend.
